Every time I pass by Tejon Ranch on my drive from Los Angeles to Sacramento, I am reminded of where our meat comes from. I am definitely a carnivore by nature and probably eat some sort of meat product on the daily. Seeing a ranch the size of Tejon is mind-boggling, given how many cattle it has. Puts things into perspective; if you want good protein, this is how it's done and the sacrifices made to get it. And I'm all for it.
